Suzuki Method in violin, viola, cello, double bass and piano

(Main Week)

 
Sunday, July 19 to Friday, July 24, 2019

According to age and level of playing, students will participate in a combination of four of the following daily classes:

Strings 

individual instruction, group lessons, Dalcroze or enrichment, fiddling, chamber music*, orchestra, choir 

* Depending on age, cellists in Volume 4 and up and violinists in Volume 5 and up are eligible to be in a junior chamber ensemble.  Late registration will limit chances of being in an ensemble.
 

Piano 

individual instruction, group lessons, Dalcroze or enrichment, duets or chamber music*, choir

* Depending on age, students in Volumes 2 and 3 are eligible to be in a duet ensemble. Students in Volumes 4 and up are eligible to be in a chamber ensemble. Late registration will limit chances of being in an ensemble.



To the daily schedule each student or parent may add practicing, parent lectures, arts and crafts, and of course, faculty and student recitals to be offered at lunch time and in the evening.

Cost:

  • Strings and Piano Books 1-3 $455 CAN / $365 US; Books 4 and up $500 CAN / $400 US (plus registration fee)


AGAIN THIS YEAR!

Optional Introduction to Bass Class for Pianists and Strings in Volumes 2 and up (minimum 6 years old)

Cost: $180 CAN / $145 US (Includes rental fee for bass)
